The staff were walm and welcoming. The room was a good size and comfortable, with lovely period decor and good facilities.Every one was very friendly.The food was amazing. I will definately stay again

The antique furniture & Linda Barker paintwork is lovely, -& well worth a visit on it's own!(-You have to go upstairs to see the painted doors tho).
Lovely, quiet,country village location & outlook.
Dislikes:
We got virtually no sleep!-& nearly asked for a refund, -the bed was antique so v v small,&the mattress must have been old as it was very sunken,&we kept rolling into each other!&clinging to the edges

Wardrobe not normal height and with items left inside, nowhere to hang suits with draping on floor. Bed was not properly made. Heating only came in the middle of the night, not when you need a room to be warm! Open trunking in bathroom looked worryingly likely to harbour and/or discharge infection, only hand held shower but impossible to stand upright Read less
