A warm welcome on arrival.Management were helpful and friendly.Food in bar was good and portion size just right.Carpark was a bit tight but I managed and that's saying something.Rooms dated but clean and comfortable. The female Manager on the bar was knowledgeable regarding the business, the customers and the area. The building itself is lovely and I was informed there is a refurbishment plan in progress which sounds good. Read less

The friendly but unobtrusive staff. Good atmosphere and I met some lovely guests that visit frequently, always a good sign.

"Handy for the train station and Parr Hall"
I had read previous reviews and was a little apprehensive. But the room was fine for the price. There seemed little noise. The Hotel is in the process of being refurbished. The breakfast room was interestingly decorated and the price included breakfast. Very close to Warrington Park Quay station and the walk to the Pyramaid and Parr Hall was about 5 minutes. The town centre is not that much further to walk. Read less

The rooms were immaculately clean and dust free. Well presented and the bed was very comfortable.

The room was warm and spacious, the bathroom (despite being green) was well equiped and well presented.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

The only down side is it looked a little run down and in need of some TLC in communcal areas - ie stairs and corridors, as they looked worn and dated in areas.
The rooms however were nicely upto date but still fitting with the building Read less
Likes:
The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful

The room was also very nice, and better than expected for the price.
Dislikes:
Staff were pleasant and helpful but you do have to ask for simple things, that you shouldnt need to. Ie, a menu in the restaurant/ bar area

The floor baords were very creaky and loud in our room
