We offer the combination of very high quality accommodation (awarded 4 star by Visit England) and a relaxing and informal stay in this lovely part of South Norfolk. Our village of South Lopham is centrally placed to explore East Anglia and is an ideal base for anyone visiting the area either for business or pleasure by car, bike or on foot. Diss market town, Bressingham Steam Museum, Banham Zoo, Snetterton Race Track, a number of country parks and a whisky distillery are all less than 15 minutes from Pansthorne Bed & Breakfast. In under an hour you can drive to the east coast, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds or the Norfolk Broads.
Your breakfast is served in a converted barn, overlooking mature gardens and open fields. Enjoy a traditional English breakfast, lingering over the delights of locally sourced food and the atmosphere of a log fire on colder mornings or dine 'alfresco' on the terrace in fine weather. Vegetarians and special dietary needs can be catered for with advance notice.
All rooms are at ground level in sympathetically converted old farm outbuildings, each with individual entrances opening onto a gravel courtyard. Rooms are spacious with en-suite shower room, complimentary beverage tray, Freeview TV, and individually heated for your comfort. There is plenty of off road parking and secure storage for bicycles.
There are a number of local village pubs serving food within convenient driving distance and the nearby market town of Diss has restaurants offering a variety of cuisine.
Children are welcome with prior arrangement (rooms have ample space for infant cots/child beds and we can provide cots and hi-chairs at no extra cost). Please discuss your requirements with us.
There is a seating area on the terrace in front of the breakfast room overlooking mature gardens and open fields for your use.
For those staying on business our breakfast room is also suitable for use as a meeting room.
Environmental Statement
We separate our refuse and recycle where possible, we ask guests to set aside paper/card, bottles and cans so we can dispose of them appropriately. Mindful of energy consumption, each guest room has separate heating so guests can control the temperature of their room but all rooms need not be heated when we are not fully booked.
