Priory House & Oriental Brew House

We are situated in a quiet part of the popular village of Long Bennington, near the Church. On the cusp of three counties, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, only minutes from the A1 it is ideal for easy access to the many destinations you may need to visit while in the area, either for business or pleasure. Newark-on-Trent and Grantham are about ten minutes drive away and Lincoln, Nottingham and Stamford half to three quarters of an hour.

Newark is famous for the market square, civil war castle, boutiques and antique shops. The largest antique fair in Europe is held on the show ground 6 times a year. You can combine your visit with the Swinderby fair on the way to Lincoln.

Lincoln is a tourist must with its Cathedral and castle towering over the quaint winding streets, museums and art gallery. Steep Hill abounds with tea shops, small themed restaurants, boutiques and antiquarian book shops.

Huge chestnut, oak and beech trees welcome you through the in-out drive. A 1912 showman's caravan patiently awaits restoration on the lawn. The 2 lovely double en-suite B&B bedrooms are in the sunny front of Priory House, accessed by the grand Georgian staircase. The adjoining Oriental Brewhouse provides romantic self catering accommodation.

You can book all the accommodation for family or friends, and have your breakfast served in the Brewhouse. Alternatively you can use the Brewhouse for your family get together and use the kitchen facilities. But there is no need to spend your holiday cooking! We have three great pub/restuaurants.

We are licenced to hold weddings and civil ceremonies in the Drawing room, where the Salvador Dali style giant carved "joined hands" table is the perfect symbol when you make your vows! Musicians can play for you in the Music Room and then serenade your guests from the minstrel's gallery in the Brewhouse for your Wedding Breakfast and Evening Party.
