The double room was spotlessly clean and well decorated. Well stocked with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was very friendly. I slept so well!
Dislikes:
No on-site parking. No door to the double room bathroom (you get privacy but can hear everything!) It must be stressed that neither of those things were major problems, just a minor inconvenience.

Doug and Jen welcome you to their family run Old Town Guest House. Situated just 50 metres from the beach, in the heart of Hastings Old Town. Our Guest House is the ideal base for exploring the many delights of this historic fishing village at the centre of 1066 country.
Having taken over the Guest House at the start of 2010, we have refurbished every room, so you're sure to have the most comfortable stay in this picturesque area of Hastings, East Sussex.
We have four tastefully styled rooms, all recently refurbished, luxury decor, modern facilities and of course fully stocked with everything you'd expect to find, plus more. We have two double en-suite rooms, one standard twin and one standard single. Standard rooms have a bathroom adjacent to the rooms. All beds are dressed with crisp linen and plump luxury pillows, white fluffy towels are also supplied. Wake up to panoramic views after a comfortable night's sleep, followed by one of our famous breakfasts to start the day before you head off to see what Hastings has to offer.
Situated right in the centre of Hastings' famous Old Town. Take a look at the famous fishing boats and the Net Huts along Rock-a-Nore, view the characteristic buildings of time gone by, some dating back to 1450. Maybe you'd like to sample some of the many bars and restaurants on offer, many offering meals cooked from fresh local produce. Just 50 metres away is the beach, where you can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the promenade whilst sampling some of the best fish and chips around, coastal walks, shopping in Priory Meadow or Crazy Golf on the seafront. You'll find everything you want for a short break.
