The breakfast was excellent and more than enough choice on offer always served with a cheery welcome.
The location proved to be ideal and all areas we wanted to visit within reasonable distance. The snow covered peaks in the bright sunshine speak for themselves.
The evening menu was appealing and the quality of the food, again, excellent.A wonderful break. Read less

Food and friendly atmosphere

No real complaints to make except bed was perhaps a little too soft!!
Electric shower a bit low on pressure.
Response from The Old Hall Inn:
Thank you for your comments. We are replacing all the beds with firmer matresses as part of our continual improvements to the rooms, this should be completed by the end of this week. We have earmarked the showers to be replaced with more powerfull power showers, this however will take a little more work and we will update the website once the power showers have been installed.

Great welcome and excellent food; breakfast in the beautiful hall
Dislikes:
Nothing of any importance
Response from The Old Hall Inn:
We have tried breakfast with and without background music, and the general consensus is that music is prefered. It is as you say a personal choice. Thank you for you custom and your comments. We hope to see you again
