"Lovely little place with very friendly owners..."
We spent 3 night here, occupying the 2 first floor room. Although the rooms were small they had everything that was needed to make our stay comfortable, including bottled water and a fridge. The rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was fantastic with every choice possible. We even opted for an evening bar meal one night which was very tasty and extremely well price. overall a very enjoyable stay. Read less

Rhona and Simon welcome you to The New Guilderoy, a family run Edwardian Town House, situated in the quiet and select area of Blackpool’s North Shore that is still only a stone’s throw away from Blackpool’s traditional sights and sounds. Ideally located, we are only 200 metres from the cliffs, just off the sea front and a few minutes from Gynn Gardens, Gynn Square and Queen’s Promenade.
If you are looking for something a little more lively, we are only 2 minutes walk from Uncle Tom’s Cabin, the oldest pub in Blackpool that also features free live entertainment on a Friday and Saturday night.
The accommodation combines décor that Rhona and Simon have collected from their travels in the Middle and Far East with modern refurbishments from wireless internet to the 42” plasma in the bar. We also offer the finest breakfasts in Blackpool, cooked to order with all ingredients, including Cumberland sausage, sourced from the local butcher. Free wireless broadband. No parking restrictions in the local area.
Highly recommended in a quiet North Shore location in close proximity to the sea allows a tranquil and peaceful stay. Our accommodation features a delightful hotel style bar and restaurant serving hearty, delicious food off an extensive menu. Although we are a small hotel/B&B, we have a big reputation for our fabulous food! Our breakfasts are particularly, something to savour offering an exceptionally expansive list of options varying from a full English to cold cuts and smoked salmon (upon request) to a fine grilled to order cooked breakfast. Our bar serves an array of branded bottled and canned beers, draft lager, bitter and Strongbow cider and various other beverages. Pints of draft are just £2.50, 250ml glass of wine is £2.50, branded spirits 35ml £2.50. We provide our guests with a selection of morning newspaper from our beautiful lounge and free 24 hour wireless Internet access. We like to think we have our guests every need or want taken care of.
