This was meant to be a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of working in central London. Whilst the hotel is basic it was clean and the staff were friendly on arrival. The candle lit dining never occuredand nor did the log fire we were promised.
What destroyed our break was the loud activities of a member of staff and his guests in the public bar below our room. They were asked at 2.20 am to quieten down, then again at 3.35 am and finally at 4.20!! We managed to get to sleep at around 5am. Read less

We have many satisfied customers who frequently return to us, and who enjoy the apmosphere and wonderful food. We had other residents staying here in the room next to yours and they were perfectly happy, and undisturbed. Bar staff went to bed at 1.30. We had a couple staying pass your room who were very late back, and rather merry after going to a wedding, In the morning they apoligised for any noise they may have caused.
