The guesthouse was wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, felt like home away from home. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and looked out over the valley.

There are a number of excellent walks and cycle tracks within minutes of the house, the Angel of the North, and the Metro Centre, the largest shopping centre in Europe are an easy 15-20 minute drive away. And the picturesque Durham countryside is literally on the doorstep.
