we only stayed the one night as we had an early flight next morning,from knocking on the door to leaving after an excellent breakfast we were treated as friends,if we went again i would request a room away from the main road,we didn't get a lot of sleep because of traffic noise.It probably wouldn't bother others but at home we live in a small rural village so are not used to traffic noise.The bed was very comfortable though I have to say,would recommend this guest house. Morton Guesthouse in Derby is owned and managed by Julie and Pete, your hosts. We have on offer a choice between an excellent full English breakfast, which is dry cooked for maximum flavour and good health, and the lighter alternative of cereals and toast. Both versions can feature, if you wish, our home made brown bread and comb honey from our own hives! We will do our best to assist with dietary issues especially with a little advance notice.
The rooms are immaculately presented, though still with that homely feel. There are two en suite bedrooms which are in a separate building offering just that degree more of quietude.
We are pet friendly and will do our best to accommodate your 4 legged friends. We are sorry to say that we cannot accommodate cats due to a serious allergy.
The guest house hotel is situated on the main road through the village of Castle Donington.
