Hotel is in a good position for visiting locations of interest in Greenwich. Rooms clean and recently refurbished prior to the Olympics. Staff all very pleasant and helpful in difficult circumstances.
Dislikes:
Not informed of MAJOR refurbishment work going on. Arrived, NO electricity at 2pm until 6pm when electricians finished for the day.No parking, after we read on website 6 spaces available.Bar/pubclosed

I could not sleep until much later than planned as there was a door in the corridor that slammed noisily. The room was small, not very clean and with no bath tub.
Sink and microwave but no cutlery.

The Mitre is a great base for exploring the local area. Learn about Britain's seafaring history at the National Maritime Museum, discover the home of Greenwich Mean Time, explore antiques and collectibles markets and admire the last of the great tea clippers, the Cutty Sark, situated in the very heart of Greenwich, in a dry dock at the river's edge.
