Likes:
Nice public rooms with a real fire in the bar where we ate. The staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The food at dinner was excellent and good value for money.

The former home of Dr William Simpson, Provost of the Ancient Royal Burgh of Inverness, this historical mansion has been carefully upgraded to host all of the modern luxuries for our guests. We have the perfect blend of ingredients for your Highland holiday – with stylish surroundings as well as excellent service. We look forward to welcoming you.
You will find your suite refreshingly comfortable. All the rooms have been refurbished with colours and furnishings that reflect the gardens and nearby Ness River. The rooms are on ground level, some with peaceful garden views. All have en-suite bath or shower rooms, LCD TVs with built in DVD player, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trousers press and direct dial telephones. All rooms have free internet wifi connection.
The Chandlery Restaurant at the Maple Court is the perfect place to relax over a delicious meal. The Restaurant looks out over the mature gardens that surround the Hotel, with its trees, lawns and colourful gardens and then on to the fast flowing River Ness. Stevie Moffett is passionate about sourcing seasonal fare to use in his kitchen, and wherever possible he uses fresh local produce to create his dishes. The menus are complimented with a comprehensive list of wines from all corners of the world. In the summer time you can eat alfresco, under the branches of the ancient trees in the gardens, or join in with our barbeques - where we have plenty for you to eat and drink.
