Room was lovely and clean. Give the chandaliers a clean and the hotel would look spectacular.
Dislikes:
Bedroom windows a bit dirty to see out of easily. There was too much clutter about the hotel which could easily be tidied away.

It was booked as a surprise for myself by my husband.On turning into the grounds of the hotel we were amazed at how beautiful the grounds and the Hotel looked. However on seeing our room/suite we were disappointed at the overall impression it gave us. The room was clean but very much in neeed of redecorating and new furniture! The bathroom was also in need of an update too. Read less

Dislikes:
The Suite was very expensive for the quality that it was. I felt we were put in a disused attic due to the quality of the rooms!

As soon as you walk into our entrance hall with its magnificent galleried Victorian staircase and blazing winter log fire, you will immediately feel at home.
Maenan Abbey Hotel has recently undergone a great deal of refurbishment. The restaurant, lobby and lounge have all been tastefully refurbished to a very high standard along with 6 of our bedrooms in a style sympathetic to the period of the building. Whilst maintaining its historic traditions, Maenan Abbey offers all modern hotel facilities.
All fourteen bedrooms are en suite and offer a flexible mixture of single, doubles, twins, a four poster bridal suite and 3 family rooms.
Here at the Abbey we pride ourselves on our cooking which offers a unique combination of traditional Welsh fair alongside more contemporary international dishes. We use only the finest products that are locally produced wherever possible and cooked to the highest standard. Our friendly bar is open to the public and attracts many locals and regulars as well as those guests staying with us, whilst our elegant residents lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet coffee after dinner.
We can provide facilities for a variety of functions; we hold a Civil Ceremony Licence for Weddings, we can cater for private parties of different sizes, conference facilities are also available.
