WOurs was the "orange"room, with one single bed and a double bed. Washbasin in the room.
Enough space for clothes and to put small things orderly away. Comfortable beds. Read less

Mark and Susie welcome you to the Lyonesse Guest House web site. We are open all year round for short or long stays. We accept mid week bookings, and our cuisine can cater for both Vegetarians and Vegans. All rooms have digital freeview colour television and coffee/ tea making facilities. We have en-suite rooms, and a Wi-Fi connection to the internet is available in every room. Our flexible approach means that the Lyonesse is ideal not only for holiday makers and tourists but also for business people working in the area or prospective students and their families.
We are based in the very heart of Cornwall in the port of Falmouth - host to the 2008 Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta - within easy reach of a variety of beaches and places of interest. There are many excellent transport links to Falmouth. The Lyonesse Guest House has been established for over thirty years. It comprises six guest bedrooms, with a choice of single, double and family rooms, and has an esteemed reputation in the local area.
Environmental Statement
We aim to make the Lyonesse Guest House as environmentally friendly as possible and as a result of our actions received a GTBS (Green Tourism Business Scheme) Silver Award in 2008. We are committed to the use of green cleaning products and are replacing all our old light bulbs when they blow with low energy versions. We endeavour to use recycled materials and recycle our rubbish, and we encourage our guests to do the same while they are staying with us. We strongly believe in sourcing local and organic food products whenever possible so we buy our bacon from the town butchers, have free range eggs and milk delivered by the local milkman and use Fair Trade tea and coffee. We collect rain water in a butt and use this on our house plants. Any used printer cartridges, batteries, stamps and milk bottle tops are saved for recycling. All of our business cards are printed on FSC card (Forest Stewardship Council).
