Loxley Guest House close to Stratford-upon-Avon will provide you with a great touring base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon including Shakespears’ birth place, Mary Ardens House and Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Being in the countryside all rooms have a rural aspect where you will see many visiting birds to our garden including the woodpecker, goldfinches and the buzzard that nests nearby. If you like cycling we can arrange cycle hire which is inexpensive and will allow you to expereince the many country trails nearby.

Warwick is a on the door step where you can visit Warwick Castle, Old Leicester Hospital and Charlecote National Trust Park which is less than a mile away. Hidecote Gardens, Ragley Hall and the many picturesque Cotswold villages including Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, the Slaughters, Bibury Trout Farm, Cotswold Farm Park are also all within a scenic 30 minute drive. Quite simply there are many places to visit to suit all tastes and ages during your stay. Loxley is a small village with an extremely interesting church dating back to saxon times that is a 2 minute walk away.A short stroll away you will also find the excellent ‘local’ village pub The Fox Inn, which is locally renowned for its quality cask ales, excellent friendly service and home cooked traditional and speciality fish and sea food dishes. If you prefer there are also may excellent quality restaurants in Stratford which we can advise you of.

Just 10 minutes from junction 15 M40, 25 minutes from Birmingham Airport and the NEC, 1 hour from Heathrow and a short hop from Stratford upon Avon and Warwick, you are ideally located to explore the many attractions and beautiful scenery that South Warwickshire and the Cotswolds has to offer, ensuring a fantastic stay.
