The lady upgraded me to a double on my arrival which made me feel quite special and the room was pretty (not girly) and very clean. The wrought iron bedstead and embroidered decoration over the crisp white duvet just looked fantastic and the pictures made me smile. Read less

The Lawnswood is a Victorian house, situated in a quiet street just off the main road into Torquay.
The house comprises a dining room and six bedrooms. All bedrooms are en-suite, with TV/DVD player (plenty of DVD's to choose from) free beverage making facilities, sewing kit, shoe shine and a hair dryer, ironing facilities are available. On the ground floor are the dining room and a double bedroom. The rest of the accommodation is a Family, Treble, Twin, Double with King size bed, Double and a single are on the first floor.
We are a few minutes walk from the Riviera Conference Centre, the seafront and the Princes Theatre. A comfortable ten minute stroll will take you to the town centre, harbour and the main shopping area. Also in this area are a variety of pubs, clubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
We are on the main bus routes to Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth. There is also a ferry to Brixham/Darmouth from Torquays main pier. Dartmoor National Park is approximately 15 miles away offering tranquillity and breaktaking scenery.
