Jimmy and Jane were very friendly, both our girls loved staying there especially as they had there OWN rooms in the family area of the b & b! Nice and quiet too!
Dislikes:
Decor was very dated but don't let it put you off as its very clean.

Dislikes:
was cold no heating on and the bath towels were very old and thin. the shower had a curtain thatr stuck to you and was very tight fit

We are disappointed that you's did not enjoy your stay with us and wouldn't recommend us to a friend. You never said anything or gave any impresion that yous were unhappy, the heating was on from 6am - 8.30am and 3pm - midnight both days that you were with us, it was mild during the day and did not warrent the heating, no it is not on all through the night. As for the towels you never asked for any change and the showers are the normal size. and we are three star rated by visit britain.

St Kilda is a licensed Guest House, you will find Jim & Jane are on their 10th season here and done extremely well to reinvest in the business which has gone from strength to strength which helped towards receiving an accreditation award of 3 star rating with visitbritain. you will arrive as a guest but leave as a friend, you will find your room is very clean and comfortable.
The St Kilda Guest House has 6 En-suite's, 1 Single Room with their private shower/toilet & a family area which has 3 bedrooms which will cater four 4 persons with their private facilities shower/toilet. All rooms have TV, Hospitality tray, Iron, Hairdryer, Toiletries, Alarm Clock, There is a seperate bar & dining room for that added comfort, Public telephone for those calls you need to make.
St Kilda is on South Shore half way between the pleasure beach and the Central Pier. If you are walking to the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle, South Pier & Central Pier it will take approx 10mins from the door. while a 20min walk will get you to the Town Centre. We are a Two Min walk to the sea front.
We are 5min Taxi ride from the Airport, 10-15min Taxi ride away from the North Train Station, and 4 min taxi ride from the South train Station. You will find the South Station is within walking distance. There is a bus stop at the corner of Alexandra Road and a run around ticket can be purchased from the local paper shop, the ticket will also allow you to use it on the trams which the tram stop is at the bottom of Alexandra Road, making it very accessable, for Cleveley's, Fleetwood market & FreePort outlet centre for shopping.
You will find we are just around the corner of J D Weatherspoon & the Excelsior where you can have that well deserved drink and good food, If it is just entertainment & drink you are looking for there is a selection of clubs & pubs in the area Jim & Jane would direct you
Waterloo road just 5 min walk you will find a selection of Shops, Market's and Cafe's & Betting Shops

If you would like to help us be enviromently friendly please make sure you turn off all taps.
We do use low energy light bulbs throught the guest house, but the enviroment is still helped when these light switches are off before leaving your room.
Any other electrical appliance should not be left on when not in use.
Towels will be changed when required with the enviroment in mind we would appreciate any help guests can give us.
Our guest house has a policy of recycling News papers, plastic, tins cardboard.
