cleanliness was exceptional, and attention detail, attentive but not over bearing
Dislikes:
It was not a dislike but something to consider the bed in the victorian room is not really suitable if you are over 6 foot as you feet hit the end.

Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you had a relaxing time with us. We debated at length over the bed size, our Honeymooners find the double bed cozy and appearently some of our taller guests sleep diagonally. Warm hospitality; comfortable beds with soft Organic cotton linen, towels and bathrobes; freshly prepared, Free Range, Organic Breakfasts served on the sundrenched terrace. Evening Meals are served in the oak panelled Dining Room, or choose our Romantic Meal for two, by candlelight, in the secluded Summer House. For that ultimate surprise ask for our Romantic Package, or Organic Treatments.
The Victorian and Edwardian bedrooms are Double Suites, with their own, self contained bathrooms, and are decorated and furnished in the flamboyant period styles. The Georgian Room is a single bedroom, with a double bed, and en-suite shower room that over looks the garden. James' Room is a room that can be booked out with the Edwardian suite. Each room has a flat screen Freeview TV/DVD, free WiFi broadband, iPod Docking Station Alarm Clock; complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and Organic toiletries; slippers, Organic towels and Organic dressing gowns add to the luxurious experience.

In the early 1900’s the house belonged to a well known local author, Christopher Bush (pseudonym Michael Home) who wrote about his recollections of his childhood in the village of Great Hockham. He also wrote award winning detective novels.
Over the last three years, the owners, Wendy and David, have sympathetically renovated the entire house and landscaped the gardens, drawing on inspiration from research and the National Trust! Your stay will be a unique and very individual experience as you soak up the history of Home Hall
