I booked online for a bed in a 4-bed room. When I arrived there was no record of my booking or the fact I had paid a part payment. I ended up in a 14-bed room and had to pay for the 2nd night. Others in my room were charged half the amount I was charged per night! I specifically wanted a small room as I was running the marathon the next day and didn't want to be too disturbed overnight. I was only staying one night as I had a job interview the next day (I'm a student at present so budget was a issue). I've stayed a lot in YHs without a problem. The fascilities were basic but clean. The location was awesome for walking to everything but as it was the centre of town and extremely noisy - Loud music from pubs/clubs until 3:30am and drunken people noise until much later. I was staying on a Wednesday night, outside of school holidays so was expecting it to be much quieter. Read less

The City has many attractions, including the museum and art gallery, Inverness castle (with the Castle Garrison Encounter Exhibition) and of course not forgetting the legendary Loch Ness Monster. All this and much more awaits you in the Capital of the Scottish Highlands!
