Very friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful accomodation and grounds in an away from it all location. Fantastic to wake up and see the badgers walking along outside my room and listening to all the bird
Dislikes:
I think the menu was a bit old fashioned for dinner- i understand that the older clients would prefer this but maybe one of the courses choices could be a bit more adventurous??

Friendly and courteous staff and made to feel very welcome.
Dislikes:
The only negative is that the twin beds in the Normandie
are quite narrow, and a socket more accessible for use with the hair dryer would be useful.

2 night short break at Easter weekend. Room was spacious with comfortable bed in Henry 2 room. Room needs some attention to detail in that light fitting in bathroom seems to have been just thrown with no care to making the old fittings leaving a gaping mess in ceiling from which plaster fell. Ripped covers on back of armchair. Old radiator fitting left on wall. Ugly mess around shower screen.
