The Headlands occupies a great position overlooking the sea and has good parking. The hotel didn't feel very family friendly despite booking a family room. Our room was quite spacious, with a great sea view and new but small bathroom, however the old sash windows rattled terribly in the wind at night, we had to pack them with cardboard, the ceiling needed repapering and carpet was stained. Not really 4 star. Read less

The view, and their lovely dog. Nice that you can bring your dog to stay
Dislikes:
Wasn't asked if everything was ok, rattling windows keeping us awake at night, breakfast wasn't great with small portions. Expensive for what we paid

At Headlands, Tanya offers you the pleasures of traditional, homemade food in an intimate and inviting environment. The magnificent views from our dining room are matched by no other. The menu rooted in traditional British cuisine, offers classic dishes prepared using fresh, local ingredients, so that Tanya’s menus change daily reflecting the shifting seasons.
