The Hawkley is perfect for a relaxing break. The rooms are very comfortable with a lovely view over the surrounding fields. The shower was very good abnd nice touches include a coffee maker and a decanter containing a " nightcap". The pub itself has an excellent range of real ales and a good selection of wines by the glass. The food was really good high quality pub food and it was finished off with an excellent breakfast made with high qualit ylocal produce.All in all a lovely peaceful break. Read less

Dislikes:
You have to be careful with noise from the pub/live music etc. Some rooms are quieter than others.

We have five luxurious en suite rooms, purpose built and within the main building. Their own private access means that once you have checked in you are free to come and go as you please, whether we are open or not.
All the bedrooms are decorated in a simple country style. Each room has a top of the range double bed with pure cotton Italian linen, colour LCD TV with Freeview, free Wi-Fi, complimentary tea and coffee, a desk to write at and comfortable chairs. The bathrooms are stylish and simple with fantastic showers.
To complete your stay, complimentary breakfast is served in the morning with a choice of either a Full English or croissants and coffee.
