The hotel is about a 20min walk out of the centre of Hythe, which was near friends we were visiting. On first sight its a pretty average hotel, but by chance we had booked "The Fountain Room" on a 2-for-1 deal. We couldn't believe it when we walked in; a 4-poster bed, jacuzzi bath, chez longue and champagne on ice waiting for us! Really amazing room - esp at that price. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful the whole time and we had a great weekend overall. Read less

The room was great & the staff were friendly. We had very low expectations but were really pleased with the whole place. Its also a nice walk down to the sea & a quick (12min) ferry to southampton.
Dislikes:
Like a lot of older hotels, its not that "smart" and the bar downstairs is a pretty average pub with darts, pool, fruit machines, footie on the TV etc. That was fine for us, but don't expect the ritz.

There is hotel parking for coaches and up to 100 cars. The garden with Fountain, has a large lawned area & children's play area, it is within easy access of the M27, serving Southampton International Airport, Winchester and Portsmouth. London is 75 miles approximately.
Watch all sporting events on our Sky Sports & Setanta sports channels in the bars.
There is a lounge bar & cocktail bar, various food and drink menus for our restaurant/breakfast/dining rooms & wedding reception areas, catering for weddings, parties, conferences, seminars, licenced marriage & partnership ceremonies, skittle alley, laser karaoke & disco.
Every lunchtime and evening our popular restaurant offers a very large variety of meals and snacks, plus excellent carvery with a choice of 4 roasts and daily specials.
