Room was very comfortable with excellent view of the bay. En suite was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Access to evening meal, with lots of choice was a bonus.
Dislikes:
On Saturday evening there was a live band playing very loudly directly below our room until 12.00 and then lots of outside chatter until 1am - this was not appreciated.

With scenic views across Morecambe Bay to the English Lake District, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and plenty of sea shore and fell walking, Ye Olde Fighting Cocks is a perfect base for exploring the area.
Fantastic views of the Kent estuary and the Lakeland mountains can be seen from the bedrooms and our Restuarant offers home cooked and freshly prepared food with daily specials. Try a pint of hand pulled bitter or relax with a glass of wine from some of our individually chosen bottles, An open fire adds extra cheer on a chilly day.
