Fernlea Cottage is a fully modernised contemporary house, with lovely gardens and plenty of secure off-road parking. It's in a very peaceful location, with views over the surrounding fields.
We're really easy to get to and find - we're just off the A41 south of Chester, about 10 minutes from the M53 and the motorway network leading to England and North Wales. There is a direct bus service from Chester that passes Fernlea Cottage. The rooms at Fernlea Cottage are very comfortably furnished. One has an en-suite bathroom (shower), while the other has exclusive use of a private bathroom (no shower). See Bedrooms for details.
We welcome business guests - we're only 45 minutes from Liverpool airport [30ml] and 50 minutes from Manchester airport [40ml]. Fernlea Cottage is a modern rural cottage, set back from the road and surrounded by fields - making it a very peaceful place to stay. Free Wi-Fi access is available for guest use.
There is a spacious and attractive garden, which guests are welcome to use. The bedrooms look out onto the gardens and across the fields. Guests have the use of a lounge, with French windows giving wonderful views of the Peckforton Hills and the surrounding countryside. A patio directly outside the lounge makes a relaxing place to enjoy the afternoon sun or watch a wide variety of birds. There is a good selection of guides and maps in the lounge for guests to use and borrow.
Tattenhall village is just a couple of miles down the road which, together with the surrounding area, offers a wide variety of places to eat and shop. Tattenhall is a pretty village, and is close to the Peckforton Hills and Beeston Castle. You can see an aerial view of Fernlea Cottage below. A number of attractive market towns are within a 10-15 mile radius
