We were given a free upgraded to a large double room, a large and comfortable room with all the facilities you need.
The hotel was kept very clean throughout.

Friendly and helpful and very keen to make their guests feel at home. The Full English Breakfast was exceptional and the dining area & room immaculate It was an exceptional guesthouse
Dislikes:
I am not a fussy person and will accept most things as I find them, however I did feel that the room was a little small for the rate I paid for the room.

We are a tastefully decorated non-smoking Victorian house located in the heart of Whitby and we pride ourselves at the Europa on offering a successful mix of first class accommodation, locally sourced products and service with a smile.
When you plan your holiday or short break away, you want to know that where you stay lives up to your expectations. The Europa offers this confidence.
All our rooms have en-suite facilities. Breakfast is served in our bright sunny dining room where we endeavour to use all our small independent butchers, bakers and greengrocers and of course we serve Fortunes kippers.
The Europa is situated on Whitby's West Cliff and is a few minutes walk from the seafront and 5 minutes walk to the centre of our unspoilt town and harbour, including the marina basin. Parking on the West Cliff is 24 hours unrestricted and at very busy times, we are close to a large car park.
