"Dirty Sheets and poor service - seeking a refund"
I booked this hotel on behalf of a colleague staying in the area for work. She was originally intending to spend 5 nights at the hotel but instead didn't even stay one. The shared bathroom and location were not the problem, but the fact that she was greeted by the site of soiled sheets and a dirty room which she deemed unacceptable. When the management was contacted about the problem he was very dismissive and insisted the sheets were new, whereas our photographic evidence proves otherwise. Read less

Located in a quiet residential area, Elmhurst is an ideal centre for touring or conducting business anywhere in the South of England. It is within easy reach of London, half an hour from Heathrow and minutes from junction 10 of the M4. Our guests, and each one is special, come from all walks of life and corners of the Globe, which makes the atmosphere at the Elmhurst unique and special. All bedrooms are spacious, have a modern outlook and wall to wall carpeting. Each one is equipped with wash hand basin, razor point, colour television, radio and intercom system and telephones. Most rooms are en suite, and an a la carte menu and a pleasant cosy restaurant and bar await your arrival.
Whether a tourist or a business traveller, staying for any length of time, a friendly service is assured you at the Elmhurst Hotel where your comfort is the prime consideration. Special facilities for the disabled may be arranged by advance notice upon booking. For the businessman small meeting facilities can be arranged and we soon hope to have available photocopying, fax and other small complementary services. Our reception desk will only be too pleased to cash you a Cheque, serve you with stamps or post your mail.
