Stayed one night,for a mini break during half term. we were warmly welcomed and even let us park our car earlier than our booking in time, this helped us enormously, as we knew we could go strait there and then go into town, and book in later. we received a warm welcome, and enjoyed our time in their bar with general conversation. very spacious room and a huge bed, marvellous, just what we needed. The Drake is a friendly, family run B&B that is situated in the attractive Hoe area of Plymouth, within 300 metres of the Hoe Promenade which overlooks the famous and historic Plymouth Sound. The city centre, with its new modern shopping area, Theatre Royal, restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities are all within easy walking distance. There is a constant programme of improvements to the hotel which are adding to facilities offered. The hotel is ideally situated for Brittany Ferry Passengers travelling to France and Spain. Train and Coach Stations are within very easy reach.
All rooms have Colour flat screen TV's with built in Freeview, tea/coffee making services and en-suite facilities. There is a constant programme of improvements to the hotel, which are adding to facilities offered.
