Good beers - three real ales on tap, all well kept. Steak and all the trimmings to eat - a bit pricey but tasted good.
Dislikes:
No effort to make us feel welcome, in a place where we were obviously outsiders. It felt like the staff didn't know what to do with us ! No small talk or chat about why we were there etc etc. Wierd.

Friendliness of staff
Dislikes:
Most of the B&B seem to have slipped - lots of bits need TLC - example being the pub sign hanging directly outside our bedroom needed oiling as it made noise all night..tv reception poor etc

Step out of the door and you can explore Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. There are many walks to enjoy, from an easy stroll through the Bluebells at the National Trusts Ashridge Estate to the Premier long Greensand Ridge Walk which passes through 3 counties. There is plenty to do only 10 minutes from your stay in near by Milton Keynes. The vast range of shops, markets and superstores makes a visit to the shops an experience not to be missed at the MK complex. If it's adventure you're after, then visit the Xscape venue the heart of extreme sports, where you can snowboard all year round on real snow!!

The nearby Woburn Abbey is set in a beautiful 3,000 acre deer park, lying at the heart of an Estate whose activities are many and varied including an award winning golf course and safari park. Our location makes us perfect for both business and leisure travellers.

The location is ideal for those visiting Silverstone and convenient for anybody working in Milton Keynes!
