We have been to The Moorings before as part of our annual visit to the 'Lights'and we have made friends with the proprietor so he always treats us well. From our observations this is no more than the norm with all his guests so take him as you find him and you will have a wonderful time. Food is excellent and plentiful and nothing seems to be too much trouble in providing for everyone's needs. Read less

Homely, welcoming atmosphere eptomised by the proprietor and his staff. Interestingly everyone seems drawn into the friendly atmosphere and social intercourse is made easy and blossoms.
Dislikes:
Nothing - other than the rain!!!

Ideally located, the hotel occupies one of Blackpool's finest positions overlooking Gynn Gardens, Queens Promenade and the Irish Sea. Situated in a quiet area, the hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the Promenade, or a short stroll or tram ride away from all Blackpool's attractions. Both North Shore golf course and the railway station are also under a mile away.
Licensed bar and digital TV in all rooms. Limited free parking and evening meals available. All prices include breakfast.
