Very little.
Breakfast was reasonable.
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Dislikes:
No reception to greet me.
Television didn't work - no aerial lead or adequate AC mains sockets available.
Bedside radio totally knackered!

Breakfast room was fine, as was the food.
Handy location, and good to have car-park.
Dislikes:
The room was a bit basic and spartan. The main criticsm being no running hot water, although there was an electic shower.
TV did not work either.

not a lot - poor facilities shabby rooms - glad it was only 1 nights stay
Dislikes:
1st room given had a broken lock could not get in - the other one of the rooms had a broken towel rail and also no hot water and very stained carpets 2nd room smoke alarm battery needed replacing

Howdens Lodge offers quality bed and breakfast ensuite accommodation. We have 20 ensuite rooms which comprises of single, twin, double rooms, a family room, honeymoon suite and executive suite. We cater for everyone's needs whether you are in Scunthorpe for work, a special occasion, golfing or just visiting.
The lodge is located in the heart of the fast developing North Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe, south of the River Humber. Being within easy reach of a wealth of interesting places to visit, the coast and glorious countryside, the hotel is an ideal base for both business and pleasure. It is also located within easy reach of all major industrial parks. There is a Sports bar serving food and a coffee bar adjacent to our lodge or within a 5 minute stroll there is a variety of restaurants, takeaways, bars and clubs.
We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and our personal and friendly staff. Each and every guest is important to us and we aim to make your stay with us comfortable and enjoyable. We offer car parking on site.
