"Fantastic stay at Glen Lodge"
It was the first time we had stayed at Glen Lodge and were sorry that it was only for one night - we will definately be going back. Merly welcomed us warmly into her beautiful home. The bedroom was everything we could have hoped for and just thinking about the breakfast still makes our mouth water (american pancakes are a must). Thank you Meryl.
We would also recommend the restaurant in Porlock village - Piggy in the Middle - devine fish and steak. Read less

Do not be put off by the rather austere exterior of Glen Lodge. From the minute you enter the house and step into the library, you know your stay is going to be special. We stayed in the Coleridge room which has great views over Porlock to the sea. The welcoming tea and home made cake was just what was needed after a walk on Exmoor. Breakfast was a delight with a combination of traditional British fayre and stateside specials. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.Read less
