"Home from home"
My experience was superb. The on line booking is simple and effective. The location is perfect, close to the Barbican, the sea front and the town. The whole guest house is tastefully furnished and the room felt cosy and homely. Both Karen and Chris were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfory with a lovely warm duvet. The room and bathroom nice and clean and a good power shower. Being on the top floor there were lovely views out over Plymouth. Overall a wonderful stay. Slept like a baby. Read less

"Ideal location close to the train station"
The Gallery is only about 200 yeards from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
I have had 2 stays there in the past 3 months, this was the first time I had the chance to try the cooked breakfast (I have been visiting for dental treatment) and it was excellent.
The hosts are very helpful and the overall experience was very good. Read less

The full cooked breakfast!
If that is not your thing, the porridge with maple syrup on was also excellent.
Dislikes:
The room was rather hot at night, until I discovered the radiator thermostat down the side of the bed.

"Very Classy Guest House"
We chose this guest house for its location to Plymouth University and after having read the reviews we decided to book a couple of rooms. We were made most welcome when we arrived. The Gallery has a contemporary feel about it and it was lovely to experience the local artwork which was displayed on the walls. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Plymouth. Read less
