Also nearby is the Tilgate Forest Park, now classified as a country park and conservation area. A wonderful open space, less than 5 miles away from us, offers something for averyone. Other attractions in the area include Lewes Castle, the medieval structure which belonged to William de Warenne as his stronghold in Sussex. There's much more to see and investigate, all within easy driving distance. Alternatively, we are near a train station if you fancy using the convenient public transport.
