"A Delightful Place to stay in Eastbourne"
On arrival, we were met by the friendly owners and taken to our room, and asked if we would like a fresh cup of tea or coffee. The room was absolutely delightful. There was a good choice of breakfast, served in a bright, warm sunroom facing the sea.
There is plenty to do, including shopping, theatre, cinema and also really nice walks, and lots of childrens entertainment. A boat trip round the harbour is good value. In all, there is something for all ages. . Read less

Difficult to pick anything in particular, and as already mentioned comfort, friendliness, we must not forget Ruby, a gentle, English Springer Spaniel, who is always willing to say hello.

There is nothing we can honestly say we did not like about our stay, even the weather turned for the better, after the heavy snowfalls in the days before our stay.
Response from Coast Guest Accommodation:
Thank you Linda, we hope to see you again.

"Most enjoyable"
After an initial problem actually finding the accommodation in the dark - the sign is not as obvious as some of its neighbours - I was made most welcome and received all the local information I needed about such things as taxis and good local restaurants. The single room was well equipped and had its own private bathroom adjoining. The breakfast, which I had ordered on arrival, was plentiful and well cooked - it set me up for the long journey back to the North West. Read less

Coast is a lovely Victorian house situated on the seafront at Eastbourne just opposite the bowling green with the promenade and beach just beyond. Newly opened in 2008 it now offers a very comfortable, stylish Bed and Breakfast offering our guests spacious, tastefully decorated bedrooms with new ensuites.
We also benefit from having a free private car park. Located within easy walking distance of the Eastbourne Pier, town centre and many restaurants and bars are close by. You can access the promenade and beach directly opposite Coast and can walk either to the Pier along to the Bandstand and Holywell Bay which is the start of the beautiful cliffs.
In the other direction you can walk to Sovereign Harbour and stroll amongst the beautiful yachts and boats moored there or take a boat trip or relax at one of the many al fresco restaurants of the harbour front.
The famous Dotto train starts at the Pier and can take you right along to the Sovereign Harbour. Alternatively you can catch a bus right outside Coast which will take you directly into the town centre to explore the many shops, or Hastings and Brighton.
Eastbourne offers an excellent selection of bars and restaurants to suit your taste many within walking distance of Coast. There are four main theatres in Eastbourne putting on wonderful shows, concerts dramas etc. During the summer the Bandstand has weekly open air concerts not to be missed. For walkers, you are in an ideal location to explore the South Downs Way, Beachy Head, Cuckmere Valley and Friston Forest.
For cyclists again you have the magnificent South Downs Way and many interesting villages to explore within cycling distance of Eastbourne. At Coast we can supply facilities for securing your bicycles within our premises when not in use.
Although we have not been open for very long, we have already made an impact on our guests with many making a return booking. We are very hospitable hosts and try to help our guests in any way possible
