Clachan Cottage Hotel with 21 ensuite rooms is in the village of Lochearnhead only 12 miles from Callander and 29 Miles from Stirling. Situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, it is an area of outstanding beauty. The Hotel is on the shores of Loch Earn looks out over the water to Ben Vorlich and edinample castle with magnificent views from the restaurants and many of the bedrooms.

The hotel has its own slipway, jetty and boat moorings. Waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, canoeing and much more are all there for you to try and ACTIVE SCOTLAND operate from the grounds of the hotel providing you with preferential acces to a whole range of activities, waterskiing, wakeboarding and quad biking to name just a few. Residents can fish for brown and rainbow trout from the jetty free of charge. We have around 30 Munros within 25 minutes of the hotel ,making this a hill walker or hill climber's paradise! We are located on the Rob Roy long distance walking route which runs from Drymen to Killiecrankie and the Lowland Highland Trail, passes through the park. Alternatively you may wish to sample some of the many golf courses within an 30 minutes drive of the hotel, or simply come and relax taking in the breathtaking views.

The hotel is run on an informal and friendly basis with the emphasis on relaxation. no formalities just new friends waiting to be met,our aim is simply to ensure that you enjoy your stay and will return at some point in the future.

This Hotel majors on its food employing head chefs with two rosette backgrounds. Current Head Chef is a Master Chef of Gt Britain and our goal is to provide superb food in an informal setting at reasonable prices. Both the restaurant and the Bistro use only fresh seasonal ingredients.Excellent for functions and the smaller wedding (up to 70). Fantastic New Year and Christmas Packages. Dog Friendly.
