The house is lovely with character and charm. The service is friendly and personal. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to meet our comfort. Privacy was not an issue as there was an area to lounge apart from the owners.The open fires were a nice touch. Although there were pets, it wasn't a bother to us at all as they were not intrusive and very well house trained. The only negative aspects would be that the road is rough and the doorways are quite low. A problem if your tall. Read less

On arrival wwe were greeted by Ross who was very friendly. He could not do enough for us and may our short stay very enjoyable. The accommodation was excellent and there was an over abundance of food at breakfast time. Ross was also very informative on events that were taking place in the surrounding area and of various places to eat. He recommended an Indiand Restaurant whsh we went to with friends and the food and service was terrific. We3ll done Ross. We will definatley come and visit again Read less

Nestling between the famous Quantocks and the Exmoor National Park with fantastic views of open countryside. Located within a Sylvan setting on the edge of the village, Catwell Country House Bed and Breakfast is bordered by a stream and open pasture. Although secluded, all village amenities are within 5 minutes walking distance. There are several restaurants, pubs, a post office, shops and banks. The West Somerset Railway also has a station in the village and there is immediate access to the Quantock Hills via footpaths, we are also adjacent to The Coleridge Way and also on The Macmillan Way West for those that enjoy walking and offer specialist packages.
