The Bruce Hotel was a good choice for us, the room was spacious and clean, the food in the hotel was delicious and the staff friendly. My only complaint would be that they didnt offer a wide range of food, and the food advertised outside the hotel and on the website was not available, which was a shame as we chose the Bruce partly for the food. I would strongly reccommend the Bruce but would reccommend the food at the Galloway Arms Hotel further down the road as it was excellent. Read less

The room was large and the bed comfortable but the en-suite door did not close properly and the shaving light did not work. Access to the bedrooms is up a rather narrow staircase.There is parking to the rear for a few cars but through a very narrow archway.Guests have to go out on to the street to access this archway to get to their cars.
