Was unfortunate that the rooms had damp in, were not as big as the website photos made out, and there was a lack of hot water for a bath in the morning (no shower other than a hose connected to the taps, but could only be used sitting down - no curtain, etc). Many of its rooms offer views of the historic valley of Woodchester, home of the Orpheus Pavement dating back to 325 AD. It appears that even the Romans appreciated the beauty of the five Valleys.
