Ilfracombe itself was like a ghost town in February. Most shops and pubs were closed.

The weather was really awful so the warm room was really appreciated
Dislikes:
The towels were not changed, smelt when damp and were an awful grey color, if the central heating had not been on they would never had dried. The bed was comfortable but did not have a top sheet.

All rooms are cleaned daily and wet or used towels left in the bath or shower are changed immediately.

Wentworth House Hotel is located in the all season’s resort of Ilfracombe. It is centrally based in Ilfracombe, a stones throw from the High Street and minutes from the Promenade and harbour.
Most of the hotel rooms are en suite however we also have 1 room with private facilities. All are elegently furnished and have views across the surounding picturesque countryside. They also have Freeview Television and generous courtesy trays with tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel is located near Ilfracombes' Tunnel Beach, Lee Bay, Woolacombe Bay, Croyde and Saunton Sands beaches which provide a range of activites like surfing, walks and family fun. For people who enjoy walking there is the coast path National Trail, The Coleridge Way, The Tarka Trail.
The hotel is open all year round which makes Wentworth House Hotel an ideal base for Family Summer Holidays, Romantic Breaks, Business Trips and Winter Breaks here in North Devon.
