Whether this is your is first time or your most recent visit you can see that the ethos of what Shepherd's Purse stands for is encapsulated still within our site.
We aim to keep everything as it should be, so when people visit us they know what they are getting - people tell tales of passed memories of the huge sacks of beans and lentils that seemed gigantic to a small child and the colourful array of containers, holding goodies from all around the world. But in the memories were also the amazing smells and smiling faces.
We are in the process of adding a shop to the site, so the people who are further away can get their most loved presents sent to them ! - Please keep an eye on the site for when it will be ready.
The Shepherd's Purse is situated in the heart of Whitby, a stones throw from the harbour side and many local attractions. We appreciate telephone bookings between the hours of 9.30 am and 5 pm as we are a small family run business and can avoid paying large corporate companies unnecessary booking charges this way. However, online booking are still bookings, so we're happy to use either method of booking.
