It was very close to the attractions we wanted to visit and felt that if there was anything you needed the staff would be very obligding to sort it out for you. Read less

It is set in very peaceful surroundings and felt very relaxing, there was no hassle from the staff and were all very pleasant with excellent food.

The staff were very friendly and the food was good. In a nice location The rooms appeared to have been renovated recently.
Dislikes:
The double bed was broken on one corner and teh toilet smelled. On arrival it was all very disorganised but the staff dealt with all issues in a very friendly manner

The Friendly Spirit is a beautiful pub & restaurant located on the edge of the Quantick Hills at Cannington just on the outskirts of bridgwater set in a picturesque location with a large beer garden running along side a country brook. This creates a beautiful setting for all the family to enjoy. The garden also consists of a children's play area to give mums and dads the rest they deserve.
The property boast 9 luxury en-suite bedrooms all with tea and coffee facilities, colour TV and one of the rooms is equipped for disabled people at ground floor level. All of our food is freshly prepared to order by our award winning chef and all sourced as locally as possible. This family owned village inn is one of a small select group of West Country Inns under the Webb Enterprises banner.
