It is comfortable, has excellent facilities, and is an ideal base from which to explore a wonderful coastline. Jenny and Duncan, the owners, are friendly and approachable. Seafield Cottage is attached to the former Georgian Corn Factors House and Victorian Coaching Inn centrally located in the coastal Northumbrian village of Alnmouth. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, the Grade II listed Seafield Cottage provides cosy holiday accommodation throughout.
Those venturing to the delights of Northumberland for the first time will be pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to reach us, regardless of what method of travel you choose.
Alnmouth is very well served by the transport system and can be easily reached by road, rail or air. The A1 is just 10 minutes away by car whilst the railway station at Alnmouth, which provides connections to the east coast mainline services between London and Edinburgh, is just a 5-minute taxi ride or bus journey from Seafield Cottage - there is a bus stop diagonally opposite.
The area in and around Alnmouth offers spectacular natural scenery as well as more attractions than you can hope to fit in on one trip; you are of course, welcome to return anytime!
An ideal base for golfers, cyclists and walkers alike. Bike storage available.
