The guest house is in a residential area of Launceston with superb views of Launceston castle and surrounding countryside. A 4 minute walk from the nearest pub restaurant, 10 minutes from the town square with its wide variety of shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from Launceston Steam Railway and Launceston Golf Course. Ideally located for guests exploring Devon & Cornwall and the Tamar Valley, the Eden Project, Lands End, St Ives, Tintagel & Boscastle are all within easy distance, also the National Trust properties of Cotehele House, Lanhydrock House, Saltram House and Buckland Abbey.
Accommodation at Rose Cottage includes a hearty English Breakfast with locally produced succulent bacon, delicious sausages and free range eggs. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and fruit juices are the healthy options available. All cyclists, walkers and runners including ‘End to Enders’ are warmly welcomed. Secure cycle storage is available. The Two Castles Trail and the Tamar Valley Trail meet at Launceston. Guests are encouraged to relax in tranquility with a book on our rose strewn patio and enjoy the views of Launceston Castle or delight in activity and walk around the Launceston town trail. Off road free parking is available for all guests.
