The room was clean and warm and the bed comfy. Location was good, and quiet. The breakfast was excellant and included the soya milk and gluten free bread we had asked for when booking the day before.
Dislikes:
The room was quite compact and may be a bit cramped for a longer stay, but was fine for an overnight trip.

We are a quality family run hotel and restaurant in a tranquil village setting in the beautiful Marlborough Downs in Wiltshire, just five minutes drive from junction 15 of the M4 motorway near Swindon. The caring for and well being of our guests is our priority and we offer a friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation and a characterful restaurant. Parklands Hotel has been converted from a 270 year old inn and now provides up to date accommodation in an atmosphere of warmth, ease and charm which is ideally suited to cater for the business traveller, walkers and those just visiting the area. Our lounge bar offers somewhere quiet to sit where you can enjoy a selection of wines, beers or simply relax with an aperitif before your meal. We have a choice of twelve bedrooms which comprise 6 more spacious Superior and 6 comfortable Classic bedrooms.To ensure a comfortable stay all of our rooms are centrally heated with individual thermostatic controls. PLEASE NOTE: Arrival is between 15:00 to 22:00. Earlier/Later arrival/departures by prior arrangement. We are a no smoking accommodation; we do not accept pets and are not paraticularly suitable for children under ten years of age.
We offer a variety of accommodation stays; multiple nights, single nights, dinner/bb breakfast; single occupancy; these can be found on the special offer page or by contacting the hotel directly.
