"Home Away from Home"
The cottages were immaculate and had everything we needed for staying the Christmas holiday week. We loved Jenny's added touch of a Christmas tree and decorations. The location is excellent where it's only a few minutes walk to the center of the town with a beautiful view of the mountain tops yonder. Jenny and Colin are the warmest persons we've met. My husband loved the history of the Station Colin so patiently and proudly told. This truly is a gem of a place. Many thanks Jenny and Colin. Read less

For a truly unique holiday experience, in an exclusive retreat, a historic location, surrounded by the countryside yet with all the facilities of the town, Old Tavistock Railway Station provides all that a discerning holidaymaker could be looking for.

Nestled above Tavistock town and overlooking Dartmoor, the old Station offers elegant, luxurious accommodation. The Station provides an affordable indulgence for holidaymakers seeking 5 star standards.

Within three spacious and tastefully furnished houses a stunning mix of high end contemporary and antique furnishings, Victorian architecture and unique art-work feature. With plentiful sofas, blissfully comfortable beds, fine linen and fabulous en suites, relaxation is easy. The houses are wired with all the technology today’s traveller expects: broadband internet connection, flat LCD televisions, DVD players and much more.

Enjoy going al fresco on the old station platform. Cook up a feast on the family size bbq and take refuge from the summer sun or winter rain under the glazed canopy. Sip on sundowners in the garden whilst admiring the panoramic views of Dartmoor.

After exploring the moors make use of the wash down corner and secure your bike in the storage area. Then sip on sundowners in the garden whilst admiring the panoramic views.

The well-equipped self-contained houses appeal to couples, friends, families, groups, independent travellers and train enthusiasts alike.
