Nice modern roomy apartments,loved the lovery panaramic views from the higher floors from the large windows with views over the firth & forth and distant views of Edinburgh castle.Our apartment had two good sized bedrooms,1 with ensuite shower/toilet and a 2nd bathroom with bath adjacent to the hallway,nice fitted kitchen & dining area,along with two comfy sofas & tv with freeview and dvd player in which dvds can be hired free from reception,there is also free underground carparking Read less

Relaxing,home from home accomadation,secure underground car parking,regular no10 bus to Edinburgh princess street where an all day ticket can be had cheap.Also there is a big 24hr Asda nearbye.
Dislikes:
The area is still being developed so there was some building work going,but to be honest it never really bothered us that much.Only gripe with the apartment was that the dishwasher was a bit pongy.

The Ocean Apartments are part of a stylish new development in the vibrant area of Leith, while the Edinburgh City Centre is just 15 minutes away (traffic dependant) by bus or car. A frequent bus service (every 15 minutes) connects the Ocean Apartments to Edinburgh’s city centre.
These spacious and stylishly furnished apartments each have a fully equipped kitchen - spacious lounge, dining area and two bedrooms which can be arranged as twins or doubles on request. Carefully selected facilities are available to make sure your stay with Ocean Apartments are comfortable and stress free.
All apartments are non-smoking and are well-appointed to ensure the comfort and convenience of guests, with comfy beds, TV and DVD player, WiFi access plus luxurious bath and powerful shower in the main bathrooms. All linen and towels are provided and the Ocean Serviced Apartments are serviced once a week. Apartments in the same block can be booked so groups and families can stay close together.
The Ocean Apartments address is 2 Western Harbour Midway, Newhaven Western Harbour, Leith, EH6 6PN.
Leith has undergone a huge regeneration and redevelopment in recent years. It is now home to the Scottish Government and attractions such as the Royal Yacht Britannia and the entertainment / shopping complex, Ocean Terminal. This cosmopolitan area has a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bars.
Please note the Leith redevelopment project is ongoing. In the meantime some Ocean Apartments do have views which include include work sites as well as the Firth of Forth.
