The cottage and the whole complex was very well kept and clean and tidy. The pool and games room were a bonus and very good value for money. The owners were very friendly.

We chose this accommodation as our son was using a trials bike venue 5 miles away and accommodation at this place was booked. We were limited to this exact week and booked in advance and payed the full amount. It was expensive for the standard on offer. We found most things dated and tired and in need of updating, especially bathrooms, soft furnishings, bedding and carpets. We used it as a base for trials biking and visiting local towns such as Clovelly, Bude, Bideford and Padstow. Read less

3 adults + 2 lads @ £21.50 per person per night, peak Summer week, seems very reasonable value, and is probably the lowest for a cottage offering all our additional facilities in this area.
We don't grade our accommodation: Visit Britain do, and their Inspector is happy with the standard as assessed in February 2011.
Our programme of up grading our accommodation continues on a year by year basis.

We're 1.5 miles from Hartland and 2.5 miles from Clovelly, close to the S.W. Coastal Path: you are ideally placed for exploring the spectacular coastal scenery (Hartland Quay 4 miles), and places of interest and tourist attractions nearby. Beaches at Westward Ho! (12 mls) and Bude (14 mls) are renowned for their cleanliness and safety.
