The staff were very welcoming and the breakfasts truly exceptional.
The location is perfect, couldn't be closer to the beach.
Will definitely use this hotel in future and I'm happy to recommend
Dislikes:
A lack of double glazing does mean that rooms facing North Marine Road are a bit exposed to noise from traffic and people, there's a busy pub nearby.
Seaview rooms face the other way, so are quieter.

Extremely friendly and pleasant. Very good breakfast and very accomodating with variations. Situated perfectly for exploring the most important parts of the town.
Dislikes:
A radiator was coming away from the wall in a FAMILY room this could have been dangerous in my opinion. There was a problem (noise) with tv being above the childs bed when he went to bed at 9pm.

Close to all the north bay attractions eg Cricket Ground, Bowls Centre and Peasholm Park and we are only 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
Situated on the North Bay, The Leeway has recently been refurbished and has superb sea views. All 9 rooms are now ensuite (3 large family/twin rooms,3 sea view single rooms & 3 sea view double rooms). All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and flat screen TV's. We also have a brand new fully licensed sea view bar with draught beers and free wi fi access.
The Sea Life Centre and the New Marina are also worth a visit. For your entertainment, there is the Spa Theatre, Stephen Joseph Theatre and the Futurist Theatre, all offering live performances most evenings.
The town of Whitby is only a 30-minute drive away, with the famous Heartbeat Country and Castle Howard both reachable by car in 45 minutes. The historic city of York is an hours drive away.
We have cot and high chair facility available. Under 2 year olds stay free of charge . Free off street parking for up to 6 cars. Parking permits available for on street parking (cost £1.60 for 4 day parking permit)
Comprehensive breakfast menu includes poached haddock with poached egg on toast, kippers as well as full english breakfast.All dietary requests accommodated.
