very close to our event, very friendly and helpful staff- dinner/roast on sunday night was top quality!!
Dislikes:
dinner on the fri (also roast) could have been warmer but was still enjoyable and Sunday roast more than made up for any glitches.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Dislikes:
The breakfast was poorly organised. Coffee and milk were continuously running out and not replenished. Tables were left uncleared and there was clutter eg empty boxes of cereal left strewn around.

We have recently invested £1/4 million and employed some of the country’s best designers to bring you our new bar and restaurant, a unique and innovative dining experience where you’ll be able to enjoy fabulous cuisine with a flavour of the Mediterranean....Wrexham now has a top class hotel and restaurant within easy reach of Wrexham, Oswestry, Chester and West Cheshire.
We are in a fantastic location with Manchester, Liverpool and their airports all within an hour of Holt Lodge, and if you're new to the area, a visit to Liverpool is particularly exciting this year as it's the 2008 European Capital of Culture.
Our 36 ensuite bedrooms are clean, comfortable and well presented, all have excellent bathrooms with plenty of hot water! To make life easier are rooms are all well equipped with fantastic facilities including; trouser press, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
Our food is just like the rest of Holt Lodge - simple, good value, with plenty of local flavour. We've got an A la Carte menu we serve for lunch and dinner, a lighter Bar Menu we serve all day from noon and a daily fish special board. Service is not only with a smile but with a friendly warmth and kids are very welcome at the Bistro too, though we do ask that children ensure their parents behave appropriately (and surrender their last roast potato when asked!)
Wrexham enjoys a very privileged location. Within twenty minutes travel you can lose yourself in the Welsh hills, be fascinated by the Roman remains in Chester or view the rich historical past within Wrexham County Borough.
Check in time to the hotel is from 2pm onwards and check out is by 11.00am. The hotel holds a 24 hours cancellation policy.
